Trump Punishment

I wasn't good with impeachment on the Mueller Report, just a censure. But when he pulled this Ukraine deal, I see it as another instance in a pattern of violating the Constitution. Any one instance by itself is not impeachable, but put together, is a pattern of bad behavior, that has to be impeached, to show later Presidents that that behavior is a no no. His continued flaunting of the Constitution, the rule of law, and general rule of common human decency, is a violation of his oath of office, whhich in turn is a high crime and misdemeanor. There can be no worse violation of the Constitution then a President violating his oath of office. That goes to our core rule of law ,and our Constitution.

Generational Divide

These millennial, who eat tide pods, have to have safe spaces, have to beg instructors in college to give them more time on assignments because the education (that they are paying for I might add) is interfering with their activism. Generation Z doesn't know what gender they are, and has never been made to be responsible for anything. Been coddled by mommy and daddy. They call us names. Both generations can kiss my a**, please pardon my vulgarity. These kids act like we don't do anything. That we just sit and meekly go with the flow. Like we didn't have to fight AIDS, while under the threat of nuclear annihilation, and still had to be productive members of society, so they wouldn't have to. We are homophobic, and racist, and all that crap, like our generation started that. We didn't start it. but life is a damn sight better for minorities than when we were born. A great deal of positive social change has become about in the last 30 years. The First African American ...

Trump and Impeachment

I f you have a child that breaks the rules, do you just let them do it because you as a parent don't want the child upset, or it is an inconvenience to you? No, you discipline the child in order to make the child understand that there are consequences for their behavior, and that those consequences good or bad, are up to the child. Do you punish the child with a spanking for every little infraction? No you let the punishment fit the crime. same with this here. Trump has committed the one major infraction for which he needs to be punished; and that is his willful, and or ignorant dismissal of the enumerated, and the spirit of our Constitution, and its place in our government, and our society. I agree with Mueller that Trump obstructed justice, for which a censure was adequate punishment. This Ukraine deal is different. That goes to his violation of his oath of office, and that warrants a look at more severe punishment. I believe impeachment is in order. Removal from office no, impe...

Barry Goldwater, Religion and the Republican Party;

"I'm frankly sick and tired of the political preachers across this country telling me as a citizen that if I want to be a moral person, I must believe in "A," "B," "C" and "D." Just who do they think they are? And from where do they presume to claim the right to dictate their moral beliefs to me? "They must learn to make their views known without trying to make their views the only alternatives." " I can say with conviction that the religious issues of these groups have little or nothing to do with conservative or liberal politics." "The uncompromising position of these groups is a divisive element that could tear apart the very spirit of our representative system, if they gain sufficient strength." Goldwater was correct, They will be the ruin of the Republican Party, if Trump doesn't ruin it first. This lady is religon shaping the Republican Party. It is ok if the President ha s spiritual ...

Stupid Wall

So they built the wall to be cut through, and then didn't leave money (it is all spent on the barrier) to hire agents to monitor the wall. Really? "We have a very powerful wall. But no matter how powerful, you can cut through anything, in all fairness. But we have a lot of people watching. You know cutting, cutting is one thing, but it's easily fixed. One of the reasons we did it the way we did it, it's very easily fixed. You put the chunk back in,” Trump said. This is my fav orite part of the BS right here; “The bollards are not the most evolved design; they are the most evolved that we could pay for,” Ronald Vitiello, former acting director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, told the Post. “We never said they would be an end-all, be-all.” They said that the wall was what was needed, because it was 97% effective. The inference, and the spending of money nowhere else, say's they thought it would be the end all. Which it is not. Here we are, sp...

Anonymous

About this new book by the same anonymous person who wrote the anonymous OP-ED awhile back. This is my opinion from before. My opinion hasn't changed it is the same for the book. From my blog. I am going to weigh in on this OP-ED, in the New York Times, that is critical of Trump. First of all, I believe that if someone is going to write an opinion piece, then they need to put their name on it. Everything that I write, say, and do, I own, no excuses, no exceptions, no purpose  of evasion. Whoever wrote this OP-ED is as Trump has said, a coward. A couple of things; I don't believe this is a "deep state" conspiracy, or a conspiracy at all. I do consider the piece to be borderline seditious. I believe it was written by someone who genuinely cares about our country, but is showing that care in the wrong manner. I don't doubt that some of the things in that piece are true, based on Trumps behavior. I read once where a man ran through Red Square shouting that "Kh...

Bill Barr

Below is why Bill Barr is a hack, and without honor. One who believes the President has absolute power, and no accountability, including the U.S. Constitutionally enumerated impeachment process. Read on: Attorney General William Barr on Friday vigorously defended President Donald Trump’s use of executive authority and suggested that House Democrats were subverting the will of voters by exploring whether to remove the president from office for abusing his power. He defended t he president’s right to set policies, steer the country’s diplomatic and military relations and keep executive branch conversations confidential from congressional oversight. “In waging a scorched-earth, no-holds-barred war against this administration, it is the left that is engaged in shredding norms and undermining the rule of law,” Barr said. He has argued, for example, that Congress cannot make it a crime for a president to exercise executive powers corruptly and that presidents have authority over ...
