Election 2020

I have been a Precinct Supervisor here in Yuma. I brought to the County's attention that people with Green Cards were voting. They told me to ignore it, so I did. I have seen the fraud, and tried to do something about it. That being said, there is fraud, and honest mistakes happening. I don't doubt that. It is politics. I believe that something must be done to fix that. That is what we must do now. I don't believe that the relief for the wrongs done this year is throwing out the entire election, and giving it to Trump. If there is a problem let us fix it. I have no problem with absentee, or mail in ballots. That is not where the fraud occurs. The fraud and mistakes happen in the vetting, and the counting. If we are going to stop mail in ballots, then we need to stop absentee ballots too. There is no difference. Ban one ban all. We can't ban the absentee ballots because military citizens on deployment need to be able to vote. So let us fix the problem. I took an oath...

Sedition

There is a phenomenon going on in Washington D.C. with President Donald Trump, and his merry band of fake patriots, it is not one of governing for the good of the country but sedition for the good of one. There is no doubt that President Donald Trump is committing sedition, by trying, in the company of others, to illegally overturn a certified national election.  We have officially gone down the slippery slope. Trump has so disrespected and has poisoned the electorate as to start a civil war. All because he can't stand to lose. Donald Trump has made a mockery of our country, and institutions. Donald Trump is a cancer on our democracy. He has no ethics, honor, or is truthfulness.

Doc Sheridan

What I am about to say transcends politics. This is not a voice of support for a candidate, but an opinion. My opposition to the Op-Ed piece in the Wall Street Journal by Joseph Epstein, concerning Dr. Jill Biden and her use of the title Dr. This opinion has nothing to do with sexism, political correctness, politics, or anything other than my opinion based on my life experience. When I was in high school, there was an teacher (they did that in those days) named Dr. Jay Sheridan. He was an English teacher. He had served as a tank driver in Vietnam. I was an unruly student in one of his English classes as a Senior. I wrote a poem one time, and showed it to Doc, as I called him. He graded it and critiqued it, and told me that some more would help my grade. So I did more. We talked, and Doc told me that if I wanted to have my voice heard in life, that I should consider doing it through writing. That I also should consider college, where I could further that. I was not headed for co...
