The problem with cancel culture is that it looks at right and wrong through today's mirror of fake tolerance, and dubious moral indignation, instead of through the looking glass of greatness and, dignity.

  Ok, Texas secedes. Let us look closely at the unintended consequences. First, all people Carrying a Texas driver's license, or a Texas passport would become foreign nationals. They are no longer citizens of the United States. To go from Texas to another state they would need a passport. All from Texas who enter illegally are illegal aliens. Texians would need a visa to go out of Texas. Everything exported from or imported to Texas would be subject to a tariff, just like from China. Any electricity to Texas would be subject to a tariff. Texas would have to raise its own Army, and Navy, as the U.S. Army and Navy would have to leave Texas, same with the Air Force. Then The FBI, ATF, and every other alphabet-soup government agency will move out. No more government protection either economically, politically, or physically. And finally, Let us get to oil.   Not necessarily. Rings are a team achievement, and stats are an individual one. They are both universally tied together. Some good players never play on good teams, and some bad players play on good teams. Ar Doug WIlliams, Brad Johnson, or Jeff Hostetler is better than Marino, or Fouts. me thinks not. The former all have rings, but the latter does not. Are any of the three in the HOF, or will they ever be. Again Me thinks not. All were at the height of their professions. Just in different places. Stats and rings will get you immortality, Stats alone will get you immortality, rings alone, will not get you immortality. It is all about the M's, money, and mortality. Thay are all chasin one or the other or both.

 Hitler's Germany wasn't socialism, it was fascism. The Socialist in the party title was a lie. At no time did Hitler take over for the good of all. He took over for the good of all Aryan's. Hitler was a fascist, there is a difference. The way's they are similar is both want to impose politically-chosen ends on everybody. The difference is that each system favors and harms different groups of individuals in society. Hitler killed 6 million Jews because of religon, Stalin killed 20 million because they disagreed with his politics. That is one of the differences.

That is what the Hall is for. SB's are a team achievement, and records are individual ones. The team crowning achievement is SB wins, and the individual crowning achievement is the Hall. The Hall is supposed to make sure the good are not forgotten, individually. That is why there are no teams in the Hall. 

As much as I like Freddie, and I am a big Freddie fan, we are witnessing human drama with Tiger. it is no longer him against the world because he has conquered the world, the golf one anyway. This is about will, the sheer will to finish something he started. No matter the pain, and no matter the cost. I have never been a Tiger fan, I respected his game, but not necessarily some of the things he has done in his personal life. This weekend though, none of that matters, because Tiger is showing an iron will. His will is against the will of time. He won't beat time, because it gets us all in the end. Tiger shows us that he is not willingly going into that gentle goodnight. Tiger has shown us he is a great golfer when things are good. He is also showing us that he is a golfer when things are bad.
