Thoughts on Robin Williams

I am going to comment on Robin Williams. I was about 14 or so when he did Mork and Mindy, and I like everyone else thought that he was very funny. It wasn't until I saw him later on the Actors Studio with James Lipton that I saw the genius. He took a scarf from the audience and entertained them with it for about 20 minutes. I saw that and thought to myself, that is a genius. I watched his T.V. show this last year, and thought it was better than Two and a Half Men, and a bunch of other shows that are returning. "Good Morning Vietnam," and "The Best of Times, The Sergeant Major looks at him and say's; " what does three and three down mean to you, Williams replies, "the end of an inning." Every time I saw that he was going to be on a late night show, no matter who's show it was, I always made it a point to catch it. He is the only one I have ever done that with. I have lived with someone with severe depression, and I have seen what it can do. This is a damn shame, because it is the loss of another human being to this insidious affliction. Rest in Peace Mr. Williams, and may the Lord have mercy on your soul, and forgive you for your sins. Just some random thoughts from the West End.
