Jurisprudence and Bias.

I didn't say that. If you are saying by your post, that the court is biased against Conservatives, and Donald Trump, then you are indoctrinated. Yes the court is biased. There is a political bias on both sides. Some jurists are conservative, some are liberal, and some are in the middle. This comes from the basic flaw in the law; interpretation. The law is interpretated by humans, and we are all biased by our very nature. The Holy Bible, and the United States Constitution are both perfectfully written. Both become prostituted, and compromised when interpreted by humans

Checks And Balances

The Federalist papers, are the foundation text of constitutional interpretation, and  are cited by American jurists and court systems in general.  Madison Understood that politicians and the individuals in public service would all have ideas that they were passionate about and that they wanted to enact. The federalist system was the solution to make sure that laws and ideas were not enacted by a small group of partisan individuals. To achieve this, the use of different levels of government had to be done by  different branches. Each branch having the authority to impact legislation proposed by other branches. One way Federalist 51 was able to encourage checks and balances was by emphasizing that justice was the end to which civil society aims. That it be it be pursued "until it be obtained, or until liberty be lost in the pursuit". Madison echoing such thinkers as Hobbes, "the weaker individual is not secured against the violence of the stronger". Madison asserted ...

Travis Williams 1969-2025

Image
Travis was someone I met in Northern California while at Lassen Community College. He was a 19 year old young man, with a wild but centered spirit. While at Lassen we had some good times. Some of the best I ever had at Lassen. I he met his wife Linda there. They will be married 35 years in August. Travis and Linda are the finest people I have ever met. Much better character than my own. Travis and I had road trip adventures together. Including a dead of winter trip to Crater Lake Oregon in the dead of winter. I climbed up what I thought was a hill, but turned out to be a building in a huge snow drift. I drove Travis and Linda from Lassen to San Diego, for a two day road trip. We all had a good time, I saw my uncle and cousin. We would drink and have a good time. Good times, classify these as good times.  The world is a better place for his having come, and will be a lesser place for him having gone. Rest easy my friend. You have it coming. One less to toast, one more to mourn...

Zelinski/Trump Argument

It is not a good political strategy. If he pisses off Zelinski enough, and alienates the Ukrainian people, when we have to go over there and get what we need, they will hate us for the next three generations, if the Ukrainians last that long as a people. Zelinski and the Ukrainians would rather die on their feet, than die on their knees, at the feet of Russians. Trump could have made a deal for minerals, and oil. That would help this country, but instead tried to bully a weaker person. That will come back to bite him in the ass, all because he wants to appease his but buddy Putin. He told Zelinski that he didn't have the cards, well Donnie boy, your cards aren't any better. Don't get me started on that hillbilly moron MAGA mutt Vance. For someone who attended prestigious institutions of higher learning, he is still hillbilly stupid. You can take the hillbilly out of the holler, but can't take the holler out of the hillbilly. His ass was just lucky to be there. He shou...
