Trump and Impeachment

If you have a child that breaks the rules, do you just let them do it because you as a parent don't want the child upset, or it is an inconvenience to you? No, you discipline the child in order to make the child understand that there are consequences for their behavior, and that those consequences good or bad, are up to the child. Do you punish the child with a spanking for every little infraction? No you let the punishment fit the crime. same with this here. Trump has committed the one major infraction for which he needs to be punished; and that is his willful, and or ignorant dismissal of the enumerated, and the spirit of our Constitution, and its place in our government, and our society. I agree with Mueller that Trump obstructed justice, for which a censure was adequate punishment. This Ukraine deal is different. That goes to his violation of his oath of office, and that warrants a look at more severe punishment. I believe impeachment is in order. Removal from office no, impeachment yes. Once again the punishment must fit the crime.
