CORVID 19 Fear

Some think that we as society need to open and get back to work, and that all people that are susceptible to influenza should be culled from the herd and just left to let nature take it's course. That if they can't handle the changes, that they should stay home. For some of us it isn't fear of the unknown, It is the fear of the known. The fear of two times a year when we can't breathe, hacking up pieces of lung or whatever it was. The fear is the feeling when breathing becomes so constricted as to gasp for air. Or coughing for so long that it hurts from the diaphragm, and you can't stop coughing. Having to sleep sitting upright. And all the while having to work to make a living sick or not. No one showed me any empathy when I lost money because of a virus. I have risked my life at my vocation for my entire adult life, with a virus and without any problems. with it. I have brand new grand son, and two other grand children not to mention grand nephews, that I want to see grow up see to what they become. You all argue numbers, when referring to this, numbers aren't going to be the only toll. There is a human toll that is being forgotten in the name of the economy. When it comes back with a vengeance in the fall, what then. Any vaccine is just going to lessen the severity of the virus, not totally eradicate it
