Gaetz Rant.

 At one time in my life, I was not the gregarious, affable individual before you today. I once was an angry young man, who was angry with the world, because the world was angry with me. I did and said things that hurt quite a few people. For no other reason than I was being a jerk. Because different non profane people will read this, I will attempt to keep the vulgarity to a minimum.  

When I was 10 years old, I made a remark to a young lady about her weight. It is the most odious and disrespectful comment I have ever made to a female. I referred to the young lady as fat, and compared her to a type of cooking oil that starts with the letter L. This young lady hated me for the better part of 47 years, and rightfully so. I made attempts to apologize, but to no avail. My apologies over the years were sincere, and empathetic. This isn’t about me or my being a jerk. This is about a leader of people disparaging a a segment, and how inappropriate it was then, and is now.  

I learned that I should not hurt the feelings of, and insult others. I learned that behavior hurts people, and that hurting people was not being a human being, it was being a pig.  

From that time on, I never mentioned a woman’s weight or age, out of respect. I don’t use the word fat, cow, sow, or any other pejorative word for heavyset women. I was a jerk, and ashamed by some of my behavior. I grew up and understood that hurting people was not the way to be. So, I changed.  

I offered sincere apologies. An apology is sincere when it is succeeded by modifying behaviors, it is insincere, when no modification of behavior is made. None of that makes me even with that young lady, nor does it absolve me of the hurt I caused. I am not seeking absolution, or understanding. I am seeking understanding how a man like Matthew Gaetz gets the audacity to hurt people and think it is ok.  

This guy is the biggest piece of crap human being, since they were invented. I wonder does he only traffic in skinny underage little girls. The sad and pathetic part of Gaetz is that he doesn’t get it. He is a poor excuse for a human being. It is good he doesn't pollute this world with his offspring.

That is all, the world according to Marvin. My apologies again for the vulgarities. Jeers to those who voted for this worthless misogynist, pedophile pig and gave him a podium to speak from.
