Nashville School Shooter
There are rumors that the shooter on Monday was transgender. So that sparked heated debate, and all the hate mongers and Nazi idiots came out with their own spin on why the individual did what they did. Let me preface this with one thought; I believe the young person had mental issues, that she needed help, and fell through the cracks of a pisspoor mental health system here in that U.S. The was a victim of that same system. She was a victim, right up until she killed innocent children, and adults. After that they became a thug and rabid animals that needed to be put down. There is no excuse for them doing what they did. That English is not proper, but that is how I am going to refer to that person for the purposes of this essay. Using "it" would be a pejorative, and I am not here to call names, just give an analysis. That being said, on to the next order of business. Transgendered Americans
I don't claim to understand transgender people, I try but probably don't do it correctly. I don't do it out of malice, just ignorance. It is not my place as an individual, or a member of society to tell people how to live. I am the last one that needs t be giving advice to adults on how to live. I care less, because I have nothing to do with that. People are bad, or whatever because of their character, nothing else. I may not understand, but I do know one thing, those people are American citizens, and as such deserve equal protection under the law. No government, whether it be state, federal, or clergy, has the authority to outlaw being transgendered, or anything associated with it.
Transgender people don't commit crimes because they are transgender. They become that way because of being bullied. This is so uderreported, and under-punished in this country that it breeds people like this. This shooter and some of the others were the victims of bullying, and nothing was done about it. It is not the gun's fault, it is the fault of the school system, the psychology, and the school administration that let these people slip through. This person in Nashville was in crisis, she called her friend and his friend took 5 hours to look into it. The shooter was already dead at 3 pm when they finally got around to going to her house, on a possible suicide call.
Politicians from both sides will use this as a reason to further the gun debate, from their political ideology. The thing is, this shooting isn't because of the gun. The individual in Nashville legally owned the guns in question. The mental health question was never asked, nor was it ever even considered in the mental makeup of the gun owner. Mark my words, they will find out that this individual was bullied, and that no matter the reason, she was mentally fragile, and should have never been allowed to buy guns. That is the problem here not the gun. Until something is done about bullying, this will keep happening.
